A dozen rooms are tucked in behind the coconut palms that line the beach and the remainder tiptoe up a flower-decked hillside. To make the most of the panoramic views and the refreshing tradewinds octagonal whitewashed cottages come with wraparound flower-draped balconies and louvered windows.
Extra-large deluxe and premium suites underscore the visionary, innovative, sometimes whimsical side of Nick Troubetzkoy: in one suite, the balcony is built around a full-grown red gommier tree; in another a flamboyant tree drapes its red blossoms around the balcony. Some have their fourth wall open entirely to the vistas, yet are completely private.
All of our menus feature vegetarian dishes in addition to which we also have a completely vegetarian/vegan restaurant called Emerald’s. Menus also feature gluten free dishes. Our culinary team is always willing and able to meet special dietary requests, but please contact us prior to arrival to advise us so that the culinary team can prepare accordingly.
The Breakfast and Dinner Plan (MAP) is available at US 100 per person per day. The All Meals (Breakfast, Lunch, Afternoon Tea, Dinner) Plan (FAP) is US 135 per person per day. The All-Inclusive Plan (AI – Breakfast, Lunch, Afternoon Tea, Dinner, Alcoholic and Non-Alcoholic Beverages) is US 190 per person per day. All above meal plans are subject to 20% VAT, Service Charge/Resort Fees and Tourism Levy.
When you book a meal plan, you can dine in all of our restaurants. Breakfast is served daily in our Treehouse Restaurant. At lunchtime, you can choose from lunch in the Trou au Diable Beach Restaurant or the Jungle Grill at our second beach of Anse Mamin. At dinner time, there are 4 different menus available to you. The Balawoo menu at the Treehouse is seafood inspired. Emerald’s in the Piti Piton Lounge serves an entirely vegan menu (in addition, all menus feature vegan and vegetarian choices).
At beach level, there is Apsara, our East Indian-St.Lucia fusion restaurant with Tandoor oven and there also is the Beach Grill for grilled fare and salads. On Tuesday nights, all guests dine in the beach restaurant where the theme is Caribbean and a large offering is presented buffet-style. A small number of dishes, premium cut meats or lobster, will attract surcharges. The culinary team is experienced in catering to guests with specific dietary requirements, but please contact us prior to arrival.
When the FAP (all meals) plan is booked, afternoon tea served in the beach bar is also included. The AI (all – inclusive plan) includes all meals and also, alcoholic and non-alcoholic house beverages served by the glass. If you order champagne or wines by the bottle from the wine list, you will be charged. Some premium liquors attract a surcharge, these are clearly labeled.
At Anse Chastanet, resident guests are encouraged to make dinner reservations when possible so we can plan accordingly, but they are not mandatory. If you like to dine at the Jade Mountain Club at our sister hotel Jade Mountain, lunch or dinner reservations are necessary as space is very limited and surcharges apply if you are on a meal plan.
Anse Chastanet Resort has a total of 49 rooms and the Beach House, a one of a kind suite. 37 rooms are scattered about a lush hillside with ocean and/or Piton views. By virtue of their location and design, the hillside rooms enjoy excellent cross ventilation and are cooled naturally in addition to which there are ceiling fans. The 12 rooms located at beach level ( beachside deluxe rooms) are air-conditioned but guests who prefer natural airflow can open the glass panels in these beach rooms and turn off the air conditioning. All of our rooms have fridges, electric water kettle, espresso/coffee makers and hair dryers. Handmade bathrobes and Molton Brown amenities are provided. There is daily housekeeping and turn down service.
The resort encompasses 600 acres with 2 beaches: Anse Chastanet and Anse Mamin. It is possible to walk from Anse Chastanet beach to Anse Mamin beach along the coast. There also is a resort shuttle boat that takes our guests from one beach to the next.

ANSE CHASTANET emphasizes the use of local woods and other local products in the room decor and furnishings. Cushions and bedspreads are made from colorful cotton fabrics called madras, the island’s “national cloth.” Even the resort bathrobes are locally made and have become a popular souvenir item!
The furniture has been individually designed and handmade in the region with the exclusive use of the island woods such as teak, mahogany, green heart, red cedar and wild breadfruit. All rooms have fridges, electric tea/coffee makers and wall mounted hair dryers, and in-room safes. Deluxe and Premium rooms also have irons and ironing boards.
Please note that there are approximately 100 stairs leading from beach level to mid-hillside level, thus making the property unsuitable for those with walking difficulties or cardiac problems. This is never a question of age. A complimentary shuttle service from beachside to hillside level is provided any time it is requested.
